We are currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled Azure Architect to join our dynamic team in London. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud architecture, specifically in Microsoft Azure, along with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  1. Design, implement, and manage cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and domain experts to define project requirements and develop end-to-end cloud solutions.
  3. Develop and maintain Azure Infrastructure as Code (IAC) templates and scripts to automate the deployment and management of cloud resources.
  4. Evaluate and recommend Azure services and tools based on project needs and industry best practices.
  5. Optimize and monitor cloud infrastructure for cost efficiency, performance, and security.
  6. Provide technical guidance and support to clients and internal teams during the implementation and migration of projects to Azure.
  7. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices in Azure and cloud architecture and contribute to the company’s continuous growth and improvement.
  8. Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations and policies.

Requirements:

  1. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
  2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud architecture, with at least 3 years focusing on Microsoft Azure.
  3. Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification or equivalent professional experience.
  4. Strong knowledge of Azure services, tools, and best practices, including Azure Compute, Storage, Networking, and Security.
  5. Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in cloud development, such as Python, Java, or C#.
  6. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IAC) tools, such as Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Terraform, or Pulumi.
  7. Familiarity with containerization technologies, like Docker and Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
  8. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  9. Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
