We are currently seeking a talented and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our dynamic team in London. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, statistical methods, and data visualization, coupled with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, and preprocess data from various sources, ensuring its accuracy and reliability.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within datasets.
- Apply statistical methods and analytical techniques to answer key business questions and support data-driven decision-making.
- Develop and maintain interactive data visualizations and dashboards to effectively communicate insights and findings to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with data scientists, engineers, and domain experts to define and address business challenges.
- Monitor and validate data quality, implementing data validation processes as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices in data analysis, and contribute to the company’s continuous growth and improvement.
Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases.
- Strong knowledge of data analysis tools and programming languages, such as Python, R, or SAS.
- Experience with data visualization tools and libraries, such as Tableau, Power BI, D3.js, or ggplot.
- Solid understanding of statistical concepts, such as hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and probability distributions.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
