We are currently seeking an experienced and talented Data Scientist to join our dynamic team in London. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, machine learning, and statistical modeling, coupled with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement machine learning models, algorithms, and statistical techniques to identify patterns and predict outcomes from complex datasets.
- Clean, preprocess, and analyze large-scale structured and unstructured data to identify valuable insights and trends.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, data engineers, and domain experts, to define and address key business challenges.
- Present data-driven insights and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
- Continuously monitor and validate the performance of deployed models, updating and refining them as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices in data science and contribute to the company’s continuous growth and improvement.
Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree or Ph.D. is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in data science, machine learning, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python, R, or other programming languages commonly used in data science.
- Strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms, including regression, classification, clustering, and recommendation systems.
- Experience with data visualization tools and libraries, such as Matplotlib, Seaborn, ggplot, or Tableau.
- Familiarity with big data technologies, such as Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
